CJ Philosophy: I believe CJ is providing an education that forms not only the mind of a student, but the heart and spirit as well. We are educating the whole person; moreover, we are working to develop each student’s skills so they may be productive members of society in a way that aligns with their vocation. The charisms of our founders provide an exceptional foundation for our co-curricular activities and the communities in our classrooms to flourish. The retreats and service aspects of CJ’s education are great examples of how those charisms work at CJ; however, all parts of the school live these charisms and our mission so well which creates a valuable educational experience.

Like many members of the faculty and staff, I have been formed in the Marianist family. I work hard everyday to live that charism in the best way that I can. I have lived in community and also met Marianists in different parts of the world which has helped me to grow into a more compassionate, hospitable and reliable community member and I believe will help me a lot in the classroom and as a member of CJ’s staff. I am not afraid to challenge myself to try new experiences and I always work to be reflective in all I do to allow room for growth!
