Blue Green Field
The addition of Blue Green Field expands CJ's outdoor conditioning area to two practice fields, making it possible to keep even more students on campus for after-school practices. The field is for the use of all students as well as athletic programs. It accommodates outdoor events and gatherings including the annual Meet the Eagles Night.

The Field
This area, situated inside of Longworth, Eaker and Perry Streets was home to a DP&L steam plant which provided energy to downtown area since the early 1900’s. In 2005, DP&L gifted the $1 million property to Chaminade Julienne and the plant was demolished that same year. From the spring of 2006 to the spring of 2010, the field was graded, irrigated, seeded and groomed. The field was first opened to student use in the spring of 2010 and dedicated on September 22, 2010.
