What Makes a Good Team?
Very good players who are unselfish. A team that passes the ball and gets to the rim. A defense like no other that allows the fewest points per game. These are all components that make up the CJ men’s basketball team. With one goal in mind this season and every season, the Eagles seek to garner a GCL North Championship setting them up for a deep run in the post-season tournament.
“In athletics, nobody simply stands still,” says Coach Joe Staley who knows his team will not become complacent as the season progresses. If there is one thing his team knows it is that if “you’re not getting better, then you’re getting worse.” The men’s basketball team is committed to playing a solid game throughout their season and fighting with Eagle pride.
