In conclusion, the 2012 season was a year of many accomplishments for the team and individual members. The varsity squad became the first CJ cross country team to qualify for the State Championships since 1983. It was their belief in themselves, a plan and their hard work that drove them to a state berth. This was also a bumper-crop season for the sport of cross country – 21 guys participated in our program. We were a very close-knit family. Everyone who took part in our program played a role in the success we shared this season.
