Young Team Competes With Heart

In her first year coaching at Chaminade Julienne, Coach Kate Corrado-Whistler said she enjoys being around the swimmers, and she is impressed with their resilience and how they cope with many of the struggles an involved high school student-athlete faces.

Despite a very young group of swimmers and holding practices in a very small pool, Coach Whistler said she has been thrilled to see the team show 100% progression since the start of the season. The team has set a goal to go to the District Meet—they are spending the remainder of their season preparing to fight hard at Sectionals in order to make their dream a reality.
