Computer components, how does a computer work? Customer requirements development, logical thinking, flow charting and programming, web page design, online safety and security, IT in Health Care with a Premier Health Partners Enterprise Solutions Architect, databases with a guest from Teradata, a tour of UD's Data Center, creative web app design with a developer from Gaslight, CS Unplugged! activities, and more!
For students entering grades 7-9. Capacity is limited to 24 students; registrations accepted on a first come first served basis.

Engineering Design and Innovation with a local inventor of Flippt, 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) in CJ's engineering lab and AutoDesk Inventor software, 3D printing field trip to Team Bastech, Biomedical engineering and field trip to Sinclair Community College nursing patient simulation lab, Toys For God's Kids wooden car assembly serv ice project, biomimicry and micro air vehicles (MAV) with Wright State Unviersity's MAV Lab Director, environmental engineering and responsible waste management with the Montgomery County Solid Waste Distict, and more!

"Food Science - It's Stemm-elicious!"
July 8 - 12, 2013 8:30am - 2:30pm $105
Field trips to Cargill and Sinclair Community College Culinary Arts program, Kitchen Chemistry, make pizza from scratch, food packaging, microbiology and food preparation safety, food labels and nutrition with a registered dietitian and University of Dayton professor, Foodbank of Dayton field trip and service project.
For students entering grades 5-6. Capacity is limited to 16 students; registrations accepted on a first come first served basis.

Each day learn a different element of STEMM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math & Medicine. Hands-on activities and a field trip to ThinkTV!
