CJ Philosophy: I was fortunate to experience the benefits of a Catholic educational experience through my 3 sons who attended CJ.  There is a wonderful atmosphere of acceptance and being part of a special community.  Students are surrounded by teachers, coaches, volunteers and faculty who are invested in their success.  While challenging course work prepares students for the rigors of college, equally important is the formation of life-long values that teaches young people to look beyond themselves.  The mission trips, service opportunities, retreats and Kairos experiences can have a profound effect to guide young people on their faith journey and to discover their calling.  Being a part of the CJ community resulted in our family volunteering together and finding ways to give back.  I have witnessed many CJ alums who have blossomed into young adults doing small things with great love to be a positive force in our world.

My goal is to ensure that every student who wants the CJ Catholic educational experience, is able to receive this invaluable gift.  In working with teen parents for 25 years, it became clear that enriching educational opportunities coupled with people who care can create infinite possibilities for those caught in a cycle of poverty.  This is my passion - to uplift others to reach their full potentials.  I hope in this way, I can be a light for others who will carry this positive energy to others.  I welcome the opportunity to creatively work together to make both Dayton and the CJ community an exemplary model where people care for each other.  With 27 years in the non-profit world, I feel honored to use my gifts at a place that develops students to become people of compassion, integrity and service.
