I am very excited to be entering my eighth year of teaching English at CJ. I believe that helping students become well-read and well-spoken is very important to their overall success in life. I encourage students to link their faith to our current reading selections and to our reflective writing. I believe in creating a welcoming classroom where students feel challenged and encouraged. I currently teach General English 9, Honors English 10, and College Prep English 11.
I graduated from the University of Dayton in 2005. I am currently attending UD for graduate school while continuing to teach at CJ. At CJ, I moderate the sophomore Student Council students and serve on CJ's Technology Commitee as well as the Benefits Committee.
