I am very happy to join the wonderful faculty and staff at Chaminade Julienne High School. I come with a variety of experiences and with openness to embrace what lies ahead. In June of 2008 I professed first vows as a Marianist Sister, after which I joined the campus ministry team at the University of Dayton. Prior to moving to Dayton, I served as a campus minister at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. I taught for a total seven years before entering the Marianist Sisters, four of which were at Central Catholic Marianist High School in San Antonio.
As a product of Catholic education and as a Marianist sister, I believe that the educational community is one in which all persons (faculty, staff and students) are challenged, encouraged and supported in their growth as whole persons. As a teacher I hope to facilitate an environment in which issues of faith and religion can be explored in an open, honest and respectful manner. Students will be encouraged to question and share, reflect and pray. Students will also be challenged to grow in their knowlege and understanding of the Catholic Christian faith.
I consider the opportunity to teach and work at Chaminade Julienne a great blessing and privledge. I look forward to coming to know you.
