Information for the Class of 2014

4th Quarter Interims are available in NetClassroom. Please be aware of the final exam dates June 5th, 6th and 7th. You must be present for those exams!

If you have not registered to take an ACT or SAT test - NOW IS THE TIME!!

 *Colleges are currently updating the deadline dates for acceptance of test scores (ACT/SAT) to earlier in November and December of the application year. Juniors should be considering the test dates (listed below) and registering to start taking these tests. If you allow yourselves time to take a test in winter/early spring, then you will have time to repeat the test, possibly a few times if needed, before Fall of 2013. This is especially important for FALL ATHLETES! 

 *NCAA Eligibility - If your student is planning or even considering playing a sport in college - register for NCAA online.  www.eligibilitycenter.org  Per NCAA - students should register with the NCAA Eligibility Center at the beginning of their junior year in high school. At the end of the student's junior year, a transcript, including six semesters of grades, should be sent to the NCAA Elibility Center from the high school. Additionally , students should have their SAT or ACT scores forwarded directly to the NCAA Eligibility  Center (by using code "9999") whenever they take the exam. NCAA fee is $65 payable online when the student registers. You MUST be registered for NCAA to make an official visit to a college that is speaking with you regarding Athletics! If you are eligible for an ACT/SAT fee waiver - we can register you for a waiver for NCAA. Please see Mrs. Wheeler to talk about eligiblity!

You will create a student profile, register for tests, make payment, check your scores online, and lots more. Stop by your counselors office to pick up a study booklet, or start your TestPrep on Family Connection!
