CJ Philosophy: I believe we have a shared responsibility to enrich future leaders through education. As long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to not only teach, but to push the limits of what students can achieve. Growing up I often found myself struggling in the classroom and had it not been for the community of teachers and parents as Chaminade Julienne pushing me to excel, I likely would not be where I am today. Now, it’s my turn to instill that same sense of confidence and love of learning in the next generation.

Throughout my 11 years of teaching, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in a variety of environments. I spent my first three years as a teacher at Carroll High School.  I spent the next year teaching as a  behavioral school working with students with emotional and behavioral difficulties. I then spent six years teaching at Elizabeth Seton High School in Maryland. These experiences further emphasized to me that teaching is more than a job it is a passion to provide opportunities. My experiences feed this passion, allowing me to be the best teacher I can be and give back to the school that has given me so much.
