Scholarships

NOTE: Contained within the Chaminade Julienne tuition assistance program are scholarships named for members of the broader CJ community. These scholarships are awarded by the tuition assistance committee based on individual criteria and student performance.

Monsignor Robert A. Amann Scholarship
Eligible students are selected to receive the Monsignor Robert Amann. Scholarship based on their contribution to Chaminade Julienne.

Irita Black ‘49 Scholarship
The Black Scholarship recognizes students in good standing.

Sr. Donna Blaul, SND Scholarship
Eligible students for the Sr. Donna Blaul, SND Scholarship include female, Catholic students who maintain passing grades, are in good standing the office of student services, and perform community service.

Bolton Family Scholarship
Families with multiple students with financial need attending CJ are considered for the Bolton Family Scholarship.

Cardinal Scholarship
The Cardinal Foundation provides assistance for students who qualify based on citizenship, work ethic, and academic performance commensurate with ability.

Classes of 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949 Scholarship
Students with exemplary records are considered for these class scholarships.

William L. Duffy ’37 Scholarship
To be considered for the William L. Duffy Scholarship, students must demonstrate leadership, scholarship, service, and character.

Frank and Robin Dupps Scholarship
Students with exemplary records are considered for the Frank and Robin Dupps Scholarship.

Fr. Figaro, CSSp Scholarship
Students considered for the Fr. Figaro Scholarship are upstanding African American students from Catholic elementary schools.

Gerard "Fuzzy" Faust Scholarship
To be considered for the Gerard "Fuzzy" Faust Scholarship, students must demonstrate spirit, leadership, dedication, and teamwork.

Mary Kathryn and Ernest L. “Hap” Grieshop Scholarship
Hard-working students who are graduates of urban Catholic grade schools are considered for The Grieshop Scholarship.

Grismer/Bridgestone Scholarship
Students with exemplary records are considered for the Grismer/Bridgestone Scholarship.

Marianist Scholarship
Students with exemplary records are considered for the Marianist Scholarship.

John Mehall ‘86 Scholarship
Based on the recommendations of the art department, the John Mehall '86 Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding art student.

Lucas Pfander Scholarship
The Lucas Pfander Scholar is selected by a committee of faculty and staff. The student must have an exceptional academic and attendance record, participate in CJ athletics and participate in the CJ ministry and service program.

Mary Kuhn Preotle Scholarship
Students from a Catholic elementary school with at least a 2.5 GPA are considered for the Preotle Scholarship.

Jerry Raiff '55 Scholarship
Students who are community builders, committed to service and demonstrate school spirit are eligible for the Raiff Scholarship.

Fr. Lee Sciarrotta, SM Scholarship
The Fr. Lee Sciarrotta, SM Scholarship is designated for CJ students who are parishioners of Emmanuel Catholic Church or other downtown parishes.

The Ranee Sinnathamby Family Scholarship
Students are considered for Sinnathamby Scholarships based on working at or above their potential and a good discipline record. The junior recipient is based on the above criteria and faculty recommendations.

Sisters of Notre Dame Scholarship
Students with exemplary records are considered for the Sisters of Notre Dame Scholarship.

Mary Rose "Gussie" Sullivan Scholarship
Female students with a strong interest in science, participation in school activities, and involved in community service are considered for the Mary Rose "Gussie" Sullivan Scholarship.

Gerald Turner Scholarship
Students with exemplary records are considered for the Gerald Turner Scholarship.

NOTE: The following scholarships require an application which is distributed to all students and parents every fall with a due date of December 1.

Ken Amlin Scholarship
Eligible students must participate in co-curricular activities, particularly athletics, perform community service, and perform academically to the best of their ability.

Herbert & Rhetta Galt Finke Scholarship
Eligible students for the Finke Scholarship must be Catholic, involved in the CJ community service program, and demonstrates academic performance commensurate with ability.

Fr. Richard Knuge Scholarship
Eligible students must participate in co-curricular activities, particularly athletics, perform community service, and perform academically to the best of their ability.

Shillito Family Scholarship
Students must apply for the Shillito Scholarship. Awards are based on participation in CJ activities, student involvement in community, family involvement in community, academic performance, recommendation letter, and an essay.

Jack Thein '57 Scholarship
To be considered for the Thein Scholarship students must demonstrate leadership and perform academically to the best of their ability.

Wallach Scholarship
Students are considered for the Wallach Scholarship based on participation in CJ activities and perform academically to the best of their ability.

Don Weimert '57 Scholarship
Eligible students must participate in co-curricular activities, particularly athletics, perform community service, and perform academically to the best of their ability.

Richard W. Wenclewicz '48 Scholarship
Eligible students must participate in co-curricular activities, particularly athletics, perform community service, and perform academically to the best of their ability.
