Communications Club

The Communications Club allows students to explore the world of communicating messages to specific audiences through the use of print, Internet, audio and visual media.  Benefits to student members include:  build college resume through experience with club activities; learn to use words, graphics, photos and videos to tell stories and promote events; practice using technology to create news stories, promotional pieces, pod casts, and slide shows/movies; practice working independently and collaboratively;  and learn to organize time within a production work flow to meet deadlines.

Acvities for this club include involvement with: graphic design service for teachers and administrators (signs, invitations, etc.); event promotion; feed CJ Web site with news, photos and video; and create news releases for public news sources.
