  • City Connects School Counselor (Full-Time) - Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School seeks a full time City Connects School Counselor for the 2018-19 school year.  The mission of a school counselor under the City Connects at CJ model is to help students engage and learn in school by connecting each student with a tailored set of prevention, intervention and enrichment services they need to thrive.  City Connects, a partnership between Boston Connects and Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School, is a comprehensive model of student support that is aligned with the teaching and learning agenda of the school.   This model is deeply aligned with ASCA National Standards and emphasizes the importance of counselors acting as a hub for all student support activities.  Counselors assess each student and then connect students to needed resources inside and outside of school that help promote students’ academic success and life changes. Counselors are actively committed to eliminating obstacles to learning and achievement.
    Degree Requirements: Master’s degree in School Counseling; additional degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work preferred.
    Licensure Requirements: Licensed School Counselor
    Necessary Experience: Experience with an organization that utilizes data to guide practice; Data collection and entry

  • Director of Athletics (Full-Time) - The Director of Athletics at Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School is responsible for the lead planning and implementation of an innovative and sustainable athletic program that forms student athletes in the traditions of the Marianists and the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. He or she manages an Eagle Athletic Program of excellence for students and families consistent with the standards of the State of Ohio (OHSAA), Archdiocese of Cincinnati (GCL), and school mission. A member of the Education Leadership Team, the director coordinates and manages an office staff and coaching staff, providing annual summative and formative evaluations. He or she supervises all school-wide athletic facilities, programming and events in collaboration with school directors.
    Degree Requirements: MA in School Administration/Leadership or Sports Management is preferred, Current PASP within ODE, Athletic office experience preferred

  • Certified Bus Driver (Part-Time) - Chaminade Julienne is seeking a part-time certified bus driver to start immediately (pending verification of all certifications and background checks). The successful candidate will be required to complete VIRTUS training through the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Coaching

  • Head Wrestling Coach
    Chaminade Julienne High School (CJ), a Catholic co-educational school of over 650 students in grades 9-12 in Dayton, Ohio, seeks an enthusiastic individual to lead our Wrestling program as Head Coach.  This past season was one of the best seasons in school history with the team taking Regional Runner-up in the team duals competition and 4 wrestlers qualifying for state with all of them placing. 3 of those state qualifiers will be returning next year. Qualified candidates are expected to have at least a Bachelor’s degree and had previous successful wrestling coaching experience. Candidates are expected to have the following qualities: integrity, discipline, enthusiasm, excellent communication and organizational skills, inspirational leadership, and a commitment to being a positive role model on and off the field. Candidates must understand and support the values and the mission of Chaminade Julienne High School.

    The position will report to the Athletic Director at Chaminade Julienne High School.   • Head Men’s Golf Coach: Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School (CJ), a co-educational school of more than 680 students in grades 9-12 in Dayton, Ohio, seeks an enthusiastic individual to lead the men’s golf program as head coach.  Qualified candidates are expected to have at least a Bachelor’s degree and had previous successful golf coaching experience. The successful candidate will be a person of integrity, discipline, enthusiasm, excellent communication and organizational skills. He or she will coach through inspirational leadership and be a positive role model on and off the course. Candidates must understand and support the values and the mission of Chaminade Julienne. This position reports to the school's athletic director.
