The Chaminade Julienne Eagle Tennis Center was dedicated on September 15, 2011 in front of a crowd of about 200 alumni, students, faculty, staff and CJ community members who were in attendance to watch the inaugural match against Beavercreek. The facility represents the latest step in the development of the school's downtown Dayton campus since the additions of Blue Green Field and the Student Conditioning Center. Fully-funded by a generous gift from a CJ family, construction on the Eagle Tennis Center began in May 2011 with a groundbreaking ceremony and was completed in time for the Eagles fall tennis season.

The Courts
The six-court venue, located at the northwest corner of Franklin and Ludlow Streets, was built on the former site of a parking lot used by CJ students and the adjacent Marianist Mission. The project, a collaboration between Shook Construction and Vandalia Blacktop & Sealcoating Inc., was completed in less than four months during the summer of 2011.
