Join us for a free evening of uplifting music Monday, Nov. 5, as the CJ Performing Arts Department presents its annual fall concert, Autumn Overtures, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
CJ's drama department is trying something new with this year's fall play. Instead of doing a light hearted comedy like The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet or The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, they chose a play with a more serious tone. The play A Piece of My Heart is the first drama the CJ has put on since The Crucible in 2008.
Whether you'd like to learn more about the performing arts program or just want to catch up with friends one last time before summer break, you are invited to enjoy a great evening of music here on campus Thursday, May 3! Don't miss out on this terrific opportunity to share in closing the 2011-12 school year with fellow CJ parents and families.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, written by esteemed playwright Andrew Lloyd Weber, is making its way to the CJ auditorium. The CJ Performing Arts department is stepping into some pretty big shoes, as they take on the famous musical that, in film version, starred Donny Osmond.
Members of Chaminade Julienne’s pop a cappella group Vega performed at the second annual Voices in Harmony Festival, taking home the award for best choreography by a group.
The two-day regional pop a cappella event, hosted at Lexington Catholic High School in Kentucky, featured two competitions as well as workshop sessions and clinics for high school and college musicians, plus two concerts for those in attendance.
Enjoy "An Afternoon of Music" as the Chaminade Julienne Performing Arts Department presents its Winter Concert. Artwork will be displayed as backdrop to musical pieces performed by the concert choir, concert band, string ensemble, percussion ensemble, a cappella groups Vega and Age V and student soloists.
All are welcome to attend this free event held in the CJ auditorium!

William Shakespeare and Dr. Seuss make quite an unlikely pair. But they come together perfectly for CJ’s fall play, The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet.
