Community Mass During Reunion Weekend

The community is invited to a special Mass on Saturday, June 27, being held during Chaminade Julienne's Reunion Weekend.

"As we do often at CJ, we are celebrating Reunion Weekend with prayer and coming together in liturgy," said Deacon Jim Walworth.

CJ's Reunion Weekend kicks off on Friday, June 26 with the Taste of CJ. The Mass on Saturday will be held at Queen of Apostles Chapel at Mount St. John's in Beavercreek. Father Jim Duell '70 of St. Patrick's in Troy will be the guest celebrant.

"The location is fitting to our tradition, the timing is convenient for weekend revelers, and the Mass will count for Sunday obligation," said Walworth."We hope the community comes to help us celebrate the reunion years of so many classes."

"Coming together as a community is something very special and unique to CJ," agreed Alumni Relations Coordinator Teresa Spanel '10. "I am excited to be in such a special location with graduates from all years, along with students of all ages, parents, and friends of the community."
