Tartuffe | by Moliere
Tartuffe, by Moliere, is one of the most famous French 17th century farces whose comedy transcends the centuries. The play centers around the family of Orgon, a rich merchant. He is duped by Tartuffe’s personality and religious piety. Orgon plans to give Tartuffe his fortune, his house, and his daughter. Orgon’s family conspires to expose Tartuffe for the hypocrite he is. This is a FARCE, so it calls for a very energetic ensemble!
