I am originally from rural northwest Ohio and attended college at the University of Dayton. After moving to Illinois for graduate school, I spent several years working in college admissions, but Dayton was always a star on our map to return one day. I was drawn to CJ by the authenticity I felt as I interacted with the community. Being located in the heart of Dayton, CJ is creating space that cultivates the graces and the challenges of learning, living, and praying together. With my wife, LeeAnn, I am the proud parent of four future CJ students--Vincent (5), Francis (3), Lillian (2), and another on the way (due in Spring 2021). We love to spend time outside, play games, cheer on the Flyers, and support all things local.
Why I Love CJ
Chaminade Julienne is truly a special place. This community offers families a lived experience steeped in mission, a welcoming and empowering atmosphere, and the beautiful qualities of a well-rounded high school experience. I witness young people navigating their way to finding their place, exploring their beliefs and values, and becoming leaders at CJ. I am blessed to be a part of this process and watch the beautiful way in which the authentic mission of the CJ community is cultivated. I am inspired by our students, by our teachers, by our families---their stories create a truly unique and special place to learn, grow, and go out into the world.

I am a '75 CJ grad but a St. Joe’s girl 'at heart' (since I attended the school my first three years of high school until it closed). In 2000, I started part-time in the Development Office/Admissions and became full-time a few years later. I now work solely for Admissions and in the Welcome Center. My husband, Ken '75 (former CJ cross country assistant and/or head coach for 15 years), and I are proud parents of five children who attended CJ - Ken '02, Denny '03, Lisa '05, John '08, and George '10 and are grandparents of eight. We enjoy nature, outdoor activities and spending time with family.
Why I Love CJ
CJ is a "home away from home." It is a welcoming community with boundless opportunities for students to find their niche and grow intellectually and spiritually. I feel blessed to be a part of this community. Working with people I enjoy spending eight hours a day with and watching these students mature over the years is truly a blessing!
