Fall Sports Wrap Up

The fall sports season brought with it many successes and learning opportunities for students and coaches alike. Students tested their limits, pushed through the pain, and worked hard at their sport all while forming close bonds with their teammates.

Highlights for the season include an OHSAA playoff appearance from the football team, a second place ranking in the GCL from boys golf, a third place ranking in the GCL from boys soccer making them District runner ups, and a second place ranking in the GCL for girls tennis with the doubles team competing in the District tournament.

While reflecting on the fall season, Anthony Turner ‘04, athletic director said,

“I believe the quote goes, "Adversity introduces a person to who they truly are." Throughout the fall season, each team and their coaches were able to navigate the hard times to teach valuable life lessons through their sport. Some teams had success early on, and some struggled throughout the season. However, each and every team was able to grow in all aspects of being student-athletes, especially when it comes to character development. I look forward to seeing how this fall season will transcend the next seasons. The athletic department is grateful for our community's continued support of Eagle Athletics.”

Congratulations to all students, especially those in the class of 2023 who have participated in their final season.
