Chaminade Julienne Welcomes New Women’s Head Basketball Coach

“I’ve always considered CJ home,” said Allen, who attended CJ as a student. “It’s been quite some time since I walked these halls. I cannot wait to get back into this environment with such a diverse mesh of students from all over the Greater Dayton area. I’m excited for what this union means to me personally and I hope the efforts of myself and our staff are reflective of that.”

Allen also spent eight years at his alma mater, The Miami Valley School, serving as assistant athletic director and being awarded the OHSAA Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity Award while there. Other off the court accolades include serving as an associate with nationally recognized basketball organizations U.S. Junior Nationals and BlueStar Basketball. He also served on the advisory board for the Ohio Amateur Athletic Union.

“What a blessing it is to join the CJ community in a coaching role,” said Allen. “I look forward to each and every opportunity presented to us. I’m extremely excited to get to work with our student athletes to build even further on an already storied and proud tradition.”
