CJ Names Earl White Head Football Coach

Chaminade Julienne welcomes Earl White as the next head coach for its football program. Coach White comes to CJ with more than 25 years of coaching experience and a passion for serving and leading young student athletes in the tradition of the school.

“Many coaches serve as educators, mentors and, most importantly, positive influences for students who come from various walks of life. While getting to know Coach White through the interview process, I've come to find that he is that special coach, a leader of young student athletes,” said Anthony Turner ‘04, athletic director.

White’s coaching record stands at 124-76, with eight playoff appearances, averaging 38 points per game since 2009, coaching public schools in the Dayton school district. His experience includes leading teams to fifteen league championships, and being named Miami Valley Div. 2 Coach of the Year in 2017.

“With the success that other programs have experienced as part of his career in coaching, I look forward to the gifts and talents that he brings to our team that will certainly build upon our strong Eagle tradition.”

Coaching the Eagles has been part of White’s ambition.

“I’m very happy to be here. I’ve wanted this job. I understand the excellence that CJ stands for,” said White. “Having this opportunity is like a dream-come-true job for me. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be part of the CJ family. I look forward to representing the Chaminade Julienne community and participating in the vision and direction CJ represents.”

“I’m excited to develop the team through a shared focus on faith, family, academic excellence and participation in a variety of activities,” he said. “And then, hey, we want to win football games and titles and have a great experience! We are going to do some serious winning here.”
