Thank you for your continued support of Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School.
Built on the principle that we all share in building the Kingdom of God, St. Julie Brilliart encourages us through her words: "Let us pray more and more that the Kingdom of God spread everywhere in the hearts of all. The harvest is great but there are no laborers. Let us work at becoming good laborers!"
Through their four years at Chaminade Julienne, students learn what is means to become a good laborer as they serve their community, honor the dignity and sacredness of each person and discover issues that become a driving force in their lives. Their culminating Senior Capstone integrates their faith, mind and heart into a meaningful project. While a senior of CJ, Mike Carper '16 worked on a project to help young men become positive leaders.
"High school is a time when people discover themselves and attempt to define themselves, often looking to their peers' actions to help them do so," Carper explained. "During this time, it is crucial to have positive influences. Our group wanted to be a source of positive influence for high school students as they discover who they want to be."
The Catholic education excellence and transformative experiences our students experience would not be possible without your support. With a successful LIFT campaign — Leading in Faith Today, nearly completed, our students will benefit from contemporary learning spaces modeled after college classrooms, modernized buildings in all corners of the campus and core programs that pave their path toward success. The key to keeping our mission vibrant and growing is you!
We invite you to join this community of laborers who continue to support the mission of Chaminade Julienne for our growing student body and the future Eagles through a gift to the CJ Annual Fund. This fund is critical in making the Catholic educational experience at CJ accessible to families who seek to become members of our community — your support through the Annual Fund offsets nearly 25 percent of the annual costs to provide this first-rate education to our students.
We are grateful for those who contribute the Annual Fund each year, and for our co-chairs for the 2017 year — CJ parents, Camp and Jody Armstrong. Please join the more than 4,000 parents, friends, faculty and alumni who value the gift of a Catholic education by supporting our 2017 Annual Fund today. Our community testimonies and recent alumni stories capture the essence of how a CJ education changes lives and creates people who go forth to make a positive mark in the world!
Peace to you,
