Each summer, CJ provides faith-centered and service learning experiences to students to help them grow in their faith and to serve those who are less fortunate.  Current students can find more information and applications in their myCJ account. For the summer of 2024, CJ is offering the following opportunities to students:

Student Leadership Conference - Boston - sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur

This conference has a limit of eight students in grades 10 and 11.  CJ participants gather with students from other SNDdeN schools around the country to pray and explore such topics as leadership styles, social justice outreach, communication, event planning and more.  In addition to meeting other students and some of the sisters, participants also have time to explore the city of Boston.
.

Taos, New Mexico Mission Trip

This mission trip experience is designed to immerse 13 CJ students in direct community service at the Taos Pueblo, working with Preschool Native American children at the Taos Pueblo Head Start program and participating in agricultural/community restoration projects designed to enhance the quality of life at the Pueblo.  Throughout the week the group will engage in cultural awareness experiences, and time will be spent in prayer and reflecting on their experiences.

.

Marianist LIFE Week

Open to 6-8 current sophomores and juniors who want to be faith leaders at CJ.  This week allows students to grow in their relationship with God and helps students understand more fully what it means to be Marianist.  Students connect with other schools who have similar values.

.

National Eucharistic Congress (NEC), Indianapolis

Held at Marian University (Idianapolis), students will encounter Christ through the Congress's Eucharistic impact sessions, Mass, breakouts and nationally renowned speakers. Additionally, in the down time away from the Congress, Marian University will be inviting all students to intentional small groups (facilitated by chaperones) to discuss and share the experience of the Congress together. At Marian, students will create Eucharistic Mission plans to take back to their communities and make
a difference at home!
