Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School (CJ) is a private co-ed Catholic school located in the center city of Dayton, Ohio serving an academically and socio-economically diverse student population of more than 700 young people. We are currently seeking qualified individuals to serve in the positions listed below.   • Long-Term Math Substitute Teacher

    Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School is seeking a long-term substitute teacher for math beginning August 2024 and continuing through mid-October 2024. Candidates must have a valid substitute license and be able to obtain SafeParish certification for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.   • Math Teacher (Full Time)

    CJ is seeking a full time certified 9-12 math teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. All qualified candidates are required to have proper Ohio Department of Education licensure, have current background checks and become SafeParish certified through the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.   • P.E. and Health Teacher (Full Time)

    Seeking a full time certified physical education and health teacher for the 2024-2025 school year, to teach Junior High and High School level at Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School (CJ), and Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Elementary. All qualified candidates are required to have proper Ohio Department of Education licensure, have current background checks and become SafeParish certified through the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.     Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School is seeking a Religion teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates must be a practicing Catholic and meet the requirements for teaching religion in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, including obtaining SafeParish certification.   • Substitute Teachers

    Chaminade Julienne is seeking substitute teachers for the 2023-2024 school year. The candidate will be required to complete SafeParish training through the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, which includes current background checks and must hold a current Sub license from Ohio Department of Education.   • Assistant Director of Development

    The assistant director of development embodies the development team mission: “We serve to keep the CJ vision a reality.” Working with the director of development of Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School, the assistant director of development designs, implements, and evaluates the school’s major gift, grant and sponsorship programs. This includes direct mail, personal solicitation, telephone solicitation, and strategizes and prepares grant requests and foundations reports. Additionally, the assistant director works with the director of marketing and communications to develop messaging and content for development related publications and communications to lead contributors.

  • Assistant, Office of the President

    Chaminade Julienne seeks an experienced and energetic person to support the president of the school and help coordinate the work of the Board of Trustees and its committees and advisory councils. The ideal candidate will have earned an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, have 2-5 years of experience in operations, accounting, marketing, or administrative support, be comfortable working with confidential material and situations, have strong organizational and communications skills, be able to multitask and prioritize, and able to pass all background screenings necessary to work in a Catholic school environment.   • Public Relations Coordinator

    Chaminade Julienne seeks a mission-driven individual who looks forward to immersing into the experience of CJ and connecting with the community’s members and traditions — serving as the school’s full-time public relations coordinator. The coordinator reports to the director of marketing and communications and is responsible for promoting the school’s mission (brand), major events and information services, and increasing public engagement. This will be accomplished by assisting in the production of and coordinating the regular distribution of CJ content via media releases and promotions, locally, regionally, and nationally.

    Chaminade Julienne is seeking a part-time certified bus driver to start immediately (pending verification of all certifications and background checks). The successful candidate will be required to complete SafeParish training through the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
