Partners in Mission is an intentional, organized program to engage parents as key stakeholders in the overall mission of education at Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School.

The program’s goal is to engage parents in the mission of the school and have them begin to see themselves specifically as partners in this shared mission. Another goal is to enhance the overall communication to our parent community.

  • Attendance Policies

    Please report absences to the Office of Student Services at (937) 461-3740 ext. 465 (or ext. 216) by 9:30 a.m. each day your student is absent. Absences and tardies due to medical, dental, or other professional appointments are considered excused only with professional documentation provided within seven (7) days of the absence.  Excused absences do not count against student totals for disciplinary purposes.

  • Inclement Weather

    All decisions regarding the day-to-day operation of Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School as it is affected by the weather are made Greg Mueller, principal.

    To ensure the safety of students, CJ has in place four separate strategies regarding inclement weather: a two-hour delay, a school closing, an early dismissal, and the cancellation of evening activities (i.e. practices, school events, etc.).

  • Lunch Account Information

    CJ partners with W.G. Grinders to help facilitate the school lunch program, including payment accounts for lunch.

    W.G. Grinders will utilize a new lunch account program called MySchoolAccount for the 2021-2022 school year. Please register your child through the MySchoolAccount portal prior to the start of school. Instructions for this process can be found here.
  • Transportation and Parking

    Parking passes for the 2021-2022 school year are available for purchase online here.

    There are a limited amount of parking spots available and permits are first come, first serve.

  • Uniform Guidelines

    Students are expected to be neat and take pride in their appearance. Students should always be in complete uniform during the regular school day. Any student not in compliance with uniform guidelines will be issued a demerit, an after school detention and/or be sent home to change depending on the severity of the infraction.

    All uniforms must be approved through the assistant principal of student services. Any dress code accommodation request due to religious beliefs must be directed to the principal or assistant principal for consideration.

Parent Involvement Opportunities

Blue Green Club
The mission of the Blue Green Club is to enhance the welfare of CJ students who participate in extracurricular activities (e.g. sports, arts, social). The Blue Green Club is comprised of volunteer parents and family members of the CJ Community.

The Blue Green Club helps plan and staff a variety of activities throughout the year, highlighted by the annual CJ Fish Fry, typically held in March. Each sports team and activity has at least one parent/family member representative in the club; however, all parents/family members are welcome. CJ PoPS (Parents of Performing Arts Students)
The mission of the Performing Arts Parents Group is to support teachers and administrators in giving our students an outstanding performing arts experience by enabling them to respect themselves and others as they grow in their art.

Parents involved in this group will help cultivate, expand and improve the Performing Arts program within the Chaminade Julienne Community. The Parents Group will support the implementation of the Chaminade Julienne Performing Arts Departmental mission statement.
