Ministry and service is the core of our school. Through the Office of Ministry and Service, students are offered a wide variety of opportunities to grow in their faith. Our students gain personal experience with the theme of social justice and service to the Dayton community and beyond. The office also coordinates the religion service requirements for each grade.
As we grieve the loss of one of our students, Leo Lehner '25, all are invited to join in honoring his legacy by performing an act of kindness or service. Click the button below to learn more about Service for Leo.

State of the Mission
Our mission is to share the Gospel, promote peace and work for justice, providing experiences of religious development and service-learning opportunities for the Chaminade Julienne community.
Students can become involved with ministry through participation in outreach events, liturgies, retreats or one of the peer groups: Marianist LIFE or FLIGHT. Service opportunities are coordinated with more than 50 agencies in the Dayton area. Students also participate in service learning experiences through our Little Sibs program and travel learning service experiences. Those who achieve exceptional levels of volunteerism for the year are honored at the annual Service Awards held in May.
